Chew & Tear Warranty Policy

At mypetxo, we know some pets are extra tough on their toys and gear. That’s why we offer a Chew & Tear Warranty on select products to give you extra peace of mind.

Note: This warranty applies only to products that clearly state “Chew & Tear Warranty” on the product page.

1. What the Warranty Covers

For eligible products, our Chew & Tear Warranty covers:

  • Excessive damage, rips, or tears caused by normal pet use within the warranty period
  • Seams coming apart or major structural damage that makes the product unusable

This warranty is designed for normal, everyday use by pets, not for extreme or abusive use.

2. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage occurring after the warranty period ends
  • Normal wear and tear (fading, light fraying, surface scratches, etc.)
  • Damage caused by:
    • Misuse, neglect, or improper care
    • Chewing through straps, buckles, zippers, or hardware
    • Alterations or modifications to the product
  • Damage to non-warrantied products (items that do not state “Chew & Tear Warranty” on the product page)
  • Any injury or damage to pets, people, or property resulting from use of the product

3. Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the standard Chew & Tear Warranty period is:

  • 30 days from the delivery date

Some products may have a longer or shorter warranty period; if so, it will be clearly listed on the product page.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To file a Chew & Tear Warranty claim:

  1. Contact mypetxo within the warranty period with:
    • Your order number
    • The product name
    • A brief description of what happened
  2. Include clear photos showing:
    • The damaged area(s)
    • The entire product
  3. Our team will review your claim and let you know if it is approved or denied based on the warranty terms.

Please do not discard the product until your claim has been reviewed, as we may request additional photos or details.

5. Warranty Resolution Options

If your claim is approved, mypetxo may, at our discretion, offer one of the following:

  • A replacement of the same item (or a similar item if the original is unavailable), or
  • A store credit for the value of the product (excluding shipping and taxes)

Cash refunds are not guaranteed under this warranty and are typically not provided unless required by law.

6. Limitations

  • The Chew & Tear Warranty is limited to one claim per product per order .
  • The warranty applies only to purchases made directly from mypetxo .
  • We reserve the right to deny claims that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with normal use.

7. Relationship to Return & Refund Policy

This Chew & Tear Warranty is separate from our standard Return & Refund Policy.

  • Standard returns (for unused items, wrong size, etc.) must follow our Return & Refund Policy .
  • The Chew & Tear Warranty is specifically for damage from normal pet use on eligible products.
